Hot Pix from the Feral House and Process Holiday Extravaganza
Ever wonder who the little elves are that turn all the cranks at Feral House and Process? What do those creatures really look like, and what do they wear at special gatherings? And, most importantly, what do they drink?
We had a beastly party to celebrate the solstice! The company gift was matching personalized S.W.A.T. uniforms, in the disaster prep spirit of the forthcoming Process book Preparedness Now! (Spring '06). We're hoping to have folks by again for a preparedness salon in February.
With editrix extraordinaire Jodi Wille behind the camera, and a bunch of boozy bookworms before it, the eldritch horrors captured might be unfit for the eyes of mere mortals.
But we'll show them to you, anyway.

S.W.A.T. assemble! Hedi El Kholti (designer of Feral House's Sin-A-Rama and It's a Man's World and co-conspirator at the massively influential Semiotexte Press), elf Gitte, elf Faustine, and Sean Tejaratchi (designer of many Feral House and Process books, including Big Dead Place, Aleister Crowley and the Ouija Board, and the newly expanded edition of Mel Gordon's classic Voluptuous Panic, available Spring '06).
The inimitable Gregg Einhorn, designer of Process titles Permanent Midnight, Go Ask Ogre, and Sex Machines. As you can see, he's positively thrilled to be on the S.W.A.T. team.
Hedi's friend, artist and man-about-town Paul Gellman, who has recently started a new cult/performance collective, The Encounter Group, who had a booth and passed out leaflets at the recent Arthurfest in LA.
Writer, photographer and film producer Tom Huckabee with the legendary erotic photographer Suze Randall, Sin-A-Rama co-author Steve Gertz, and The Nero Prediction author (and Suze's husband) Humphry Knipe.

Also in the house were friends Maja D'aoust, husband Kiyoshi Nakazawa and baby Momoko. Maja is a writer/artist and second generation esotericist who lectures on alchemy at L.A.'s Philosophical Research Society. Kiyoshi and Maja make zines together, and Kiyoshi also works with the folks at Giant Robot magazine. This clan somehow escaped the party camera, but here's the glamorous Christmas card photo they sent Adam and Jodi.
