Bob Livingston, former House speaker-elect, was tricked into giving up his post by Hustler magazine in 1998, according to new tell-all book due in May. Livingston was forced to resign because the skin mag claimed it had proof of the Louisiana Republican's extramarital affairs, according to Prisoner of X, a book by former Hustler editor Allan MacDonell. Hustler publisher Larry Flynt, above, took out a Washington Post ad offering $1 million for evidence of "sexual indiscretions" by top Republican officials in the wake of the President Clinton-Monica Lewinsky scandal.
